Neil spearheads Proudfoot’s Natural Resources practice across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa. Neil has sat on both sides of the desk and is both an experienced CEO, and Senior Advisor. He holds a Master’s degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa, and as an Internation al executive possesses a unique combination of advisory, corporate, and private equity experience across diverse industries and locations; Mining, Metals, Petro Chemical, Retail and Aviation industries, within Europe, the Middle East and Africa. As a corpo rate executive, he was most recently the CEO of Office Depot Europe, where he led large - scale operations, involving complex supply chain, and a large people dynamic. Known for his energy, passion, strong leadership, and ability to get the job done, Neil is described as “having an uncanny knack of slicing through the noise to find a workable, practical solutions.
