Graham is a Mining Engineer with 35 years mining industry experience.. 30 of those years have been spent working for consulting companies , including starting and growing his own consulting company over 15 years. He is a recognised authority in mining equipment productivity; benchmarking; and the application of analytics to understanding real equipment performance. Graham helped pioneer the use of big data in the global mining industry in the 1990’s by aggregating and measuring comprehensive data on mining equipment productivity and reliability worldwide. Graham developed the largest database of mining performance data from mines in Australia, North America, South America and Africa, starting in 1992. Currently there is over one billion records from 156 individual mines, covering draglines, trucks, electric rope shovels, hydraulic shovels, front end loaders, drills and ancillary equipment.
