A dynamic facilitator, author, and speaker, Emma is Principal Psychologist and Co - Founder of PE Health, a company that innovates mental health education for individuals and organisations across the globe. Her role encompasses heading the research and development department, presenting as lead educator, and providing mental health support. Her studies and work in the health industry have taken her across Australia, Germany, Canada, and South - East Asia. Emma has extensive experience evaluating and run ning group psychoeducational programs and therapeutic intervention. Her previous roles include work in correctional facilities, running intensive programs to address offending behaviour. In this role she held leadership positions and received awards in rec ognition of her work. She is passionate about the impact mental health education can have on the wellbeing of individuals, couples, and organisations. She has focused on developing the LINK project which has been purpose designed to influence the social architecture of the mining industry. She uses a casual and down - to - earth approach to tap into individuals internal motivation to upskill to foster a sense of wellbeing for themselves and those around them. Together with global health consultant Elise Moo re, they are changing the social architecture of mining by establishing a new framework (through the LINK Project) to tackle this challenging and perpetuating issue. The unique LINK Project breaks down and analyses how to combat the pervasive culture of po or mental health in mining. It provides supervisors and industry leaders with the tools and strategies required to effectively and constructively respond to mental health issues; supports miners’ relationships with their families; and breaks - down the damag ing stigma attached to mental health in the industry
