Dr Andreas Hucke is the Project Director of CERA 4in1 , the first universal and standardised certification programme that guarantees a consistent evaluation of environmental, social and economic sustainability in extraction, processing, trading and manufacturing of all raw materials. Since 1989, Dr Hucke has held a variety of roles at DMT, an international independent engineering and consulting com pany, headquartered in Essen, Germany. Currently, Andreas is Head of Raw Materials Sustainability at DMT alongside which he holds the following roles within DMT: Senior Engineer Geologist, Accredited Expert for Rockburst Prevention and Supervisor of the “T esting of Support Elements, Monitoring and Physical Modelling” team. Since 2016, Andreas has also been responsible for the Strategy Project Transparency at DMT Group, through which the CERA 4in1 project was first originated. Prior to this, Andreas held roles as Head of Strata Control and Support Technology; Head of the Laboratory Research and Development of Testing of Support Elements; Head of the Research and Development of Techniques for Rockburst Prevention. Andreas has also led various projects in th e field of geology, geomechanics and mining techniques
